The cool weather is approaching. I’m bringing out the cozy sweaters and sipping on hot lattes while running my weekend errands. It is a ritual for me to have a warm cup of coffee in my hand while out and about. Coffee keeps me focused on getting my weekend tasks done. One of my favorite on-the-go accessories this season are my customized felt coffee sleeves. I don’t leave home without it.
My latest obsession are these felt coffee sleeves. I love customized accessories that brings out my personality, uniqueness and creativity. That makes a world of a difference when you are among the everyday crowd. I get plenty of compliments on these coffee sleeves. It is adorable and helps reduce waste. Some folks asked how they can get their own personalized coffee sleeves. Which is the reason I created this post.
These sleeves make excellent stocking stuffers or party favors. Keep that in mind around the holidays or birthday of a friend. A girl can never have to many DIY coffee sleeves.

About Iron-On Vinyls:
Not everyone has a fancy paper cutting machine (or two) like my Cricut Expression and Explore One. It is easier to customize and cut intricate designs with my Cricut Explore One, however there is a way to use iron-on vinyl to create your own art work without the machine. You can try paper punchers or the good old fashion draw and cut method. As long as you have a one-of-a-kind design, your craft that will definitely stand out.
1. Trace and cut the cardboard sleeve along the felt fabric.
2. Hot glue the ends of the sleeve together.
3. Iron on the vinyl designs. Remember to design in a mirror image so when you iron the vinyl, the right side up is sealed into the felt.
Now you can make your own felt coffee sleeve in any design you want. If you do make a felt sleeve, I’d love to see what you come up with. Share it here or tag me on Instagram @thecraftingboard.
