Slow Down and Enjoy The View
Since Labor Day, I have been on Go-Go-Go mode. Life at Craft Box Girls is in full gear. We’ve signed on a few new content creators and taking off with video shoots left and right. The theme has been to make clients happy, create fresh content and what’s next on my calendar? I’ve been in and out of town for two weekend getaways and more coming from now until Christmas. I can literally see every weekend’s agenda from now until New Year’s Day. How did my life get so busy? When will I find time to slow down and take in everything? Thank goodness for a birthday getaway.
Last month, I took a breather. For my birthday, my girlfriends took me to my favorite beach town, Seacrest Beach off the 30A Florida Gulf highway. We rented a charming little beach house across from the gorgeous Emerald Coast. The only thing I wanted to do is to lay on the beach with an umbrella over my head, sunglasses on my face and soak in the sunshine and warm breeze. That’s all a girl can ever ask for…on her birthday that is.
Here is a recap of my time at Seacrest Beach with the girls.
Seacrest Beach is a clean and family-friendly destination that is still a best-kept-secret kind of place. The days are slower here and there’s time to enjoy anything and everything. For example, I cooked breakfast and still had time to enjoy it with my friends. There was no such thing as Go-Go-Go mode down here.
I enjoyed the slow sunsets during our evening bike rides to dinner as well as our bike rides to coffee and breakfast in Rosemary Beach.
The final morning of our trip, we ended it on a high note. Gabby and Sealling went crabbing from the shore!
That’s a wrap folks. Until the next weekend getaway!
